FINALLY!!!!

A date has finally been set "officially" for the closing. All parties have agreed, Friday November 30th to meet on the 45th floor of the Empire State Building at 10 AM. From that point on I will be freaking out about whether or not I have made the right decission. But I will try to enjoy the view.

the turkeys

well it is the holidays and thought we should share how great my holiday sweater is. Also note how amazing dad's turkey turned out.

Naughty Boy

Last night, as I was preparing some macaroni and cheese with peas, Max decided that the table was a much more appealing drawing surface than a measly piece of copy paper. This picture was taken as I said, "MAX!" It is amazing how simultaneously naughty and cute he is.

Enough snow to track a...

Sadly, Willow is no longer with us so we can't use the time-honored measurement the Buttner family uses to mark the date of the first significant snowfall of the year. So, instead of seeing the tracks of a cat, we've had to use the tracks of a different animal.

Max takes his grandparents to the Bronx Zoo

We had a very nice visit with Brian, Lauren and Max over Veteran's Day weekend--the view from their new apartment is great! And Max enjoyed showing us around the Bronx Zoo (note the impish grin).

An added plus was that we got to have dinner with Davey who was (miraculously!) in NY for a couple of days

Getting Closer

I had the official board meeting last night, and it went well. It was a very odd meeting to be honest. I met with the president, vice president and one other member. They basically just told me about the building, and asked if I had any questions. They really didn't ask me anything. All and all it was a very successful meeting. The building is very laid back on renovations, their policy is as long as it doesn't involve moving walls or pipes, no need for approval.

I will officially know on thursday.
